My Day Off

Today was my day off. It was very welcomed. I had the entire last week off with Dallas and got entirely spoiled.
Andrea had her baby last Friday which means he(Kyson) is going to be a week old tomorrow. I don't feel like it has been a week since he was born because I missed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday(I work really long strange hours). That's a lot of time when you've only been born for a week.
I got to spend some time with Kyson, Caleb, Andrea, and Jamie at the park today and it was so much fun!!! (Unfortunately I forgot my camera, so I don't have any cute pictures of the park)
Can't think of a better way of spending my day off!!

Isn't he sooo cute??

84 more days until School Starts

I can't believe how long I have until PA school starts!! 84 days which equals out to about 3 months!! It is taking a long time to get here. I found out in October that I made it in which gave me 8 months of waiting for it to start. I feel like I should be preparing for something, but I really don't have much left to do, except wait.

This may be a stretch, but the wait can be compared to it to being pregnant. 8 months isn't much different than 9 months!! I've waited and waited, worked and worked to get into PA School!! I got in!! (That's like initially finding out your pregnant) Then I have to wait and wait and wait and wait for it to start. The actual starting though is going to be really hard, and a huge life adjustment. That's like having the baby and then finding out how much work it is!!!!!

I'm excited to go to PA school, I'm excited to learn about medicine, but it is going to be a lot of work. Everyone thinks they don't see me a lot now, you just wait. It will all be worth it in the end...

It's good to know that the Lord wants me to go school and will be there to help me through all the doubt and hard times.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DALLAS

It's Spring Break and it's Dallas's Birthday. We've had a blast so far!! We went up to Show Low on Sunday Night with Christy after having a March Birthday's Dinner at Dallas's Mom's house, had another March Birthday's Party at my Mom's house in Show Low and then last night Mindy and Steve took Dallas to the Cheesecake Factory for cake!! Needless to say we're having fun celebrating Dallas's Birthday Week. It's been a lot of fun. I took the week off to have fun with Dallas!! (I love PTO, It's great to have somewhat of a REAL job).

Here are some photos of our fun week so far...........

Boston on a Whim

So my husband was so sweet to ask people to entertain me while he was on a work trip to Boston... unfortunately as it turned out I wasn't around to need entertaining.

Thursday night Dallas and I went out to eat with Christy and Zach and went shopping for new shoes before he took off on his redeye flight to Boston. (I needed to get new tennis shoes for work since the ones I have, got stained with Iodine at the hospital. It isn't really that big of a deal except that iodine on shoes looks a little like pooh :( I am too picky but fortunately found some shoes that were okay at a shoe store called DSW by the Chandler mall. (I officially love this store. They allow you to bring back shoes up to 30 days even if they scuffed and worn. This is awesome for me because I have this tendency to buy shoes too big for me, then I get stuck with them) Anyway I digress...

On our way home to pick up Dallas's things for his trip, we started speculating about how much fun it would be if I went to Boston with Dallas. So we got home and decided to just check online to see how much tickets would cost, and if there were any seats left on the flight. Well, there were tickets left but the ticket was pretty pricey. But Dallas was just so excited that I was even thinking about going, that he bought the ticket and I somehow ended up on an airplane half an hour later (very quick packing)
Picture of us at the airport

It ended up being tons of fun!! Dallas's company had him staying at the Marriot and we were lucky enough to get a king size bed with tons of pillows and a puffy comforter that was so fun to just hang out in. We also got plenty of money for food each day so we ate whatever we wanted for free!! The only bummer part was that Dallas had to work on Friday and Saturday until about 4:00 so we didn't get to do much sight seeing. We did a lot of riding around Boston in the rental car (also paid for) and did a lot of getting lost. (I found out I have a better sense of direction than Dallas when we get out of the valley where he grew up.) Here is some of the pictures of things that we did get to see... or that we just thought was cool!!

Elevator Tag (Natalie wins 3 out of 3)
Paul Revere and Natalie
This is where Paul Revere destination!!
Fire Station in Boston (I thought it was appropriate since Dallas and I drive ambulances)
It was such a cute tiny door. This is the first one we saw but almost every building has a tiny door like it.
Faneuil Hall, a little shopping center.
A really cool bridge that lights up in blue at night that leads to the north end of Boston

Dallas is soooo cute in his very purple work scrubs!!
